World-class white wines

Our white wines: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Muskateller and Gewürztraminer (60 %). They are cultivated exclusively in areas that provide them with optimum conditions. Following the harvest our selected grapes are delivered to the wine press house and are processed carefully in a pneumatic wine press. The resulting juice is immediately cooled and filtered until clear in specially equipped stainless steel vats with cooling plates. Specially cultured yeast is added to the juice and the fermentation process begins. The fermentation phase is closely monitored and controlled via a computer-aided cooling system. In this way, we are able to produce pure, modern wines with distinctive fruit aromas, a high natural carbon dioxide content and a natural residual sweetness in slightly sweet wines. A long period of maturing allows the carbon dioxide to be absorbed into the wine in a natural way. The young wine undergoes direct filtering in stainless steel tanks, and is stored in our cool cellar where it has time to age until it is ready for bottling. This reductive way of working helps to maintain the wine's natural type and its character derived from the terroir, and is the guarantee for modern, tangy, fresh white wines with delicate fruitiness.
